LOVE YOU A BRUNCH

valentines florals

Valentine’s Day is just a month away, so now that my website it up (and I’m still learning how to use it), I wanted to get caught up on sharing all the details from our mother-daughter Galentine’s Day brunch from last year.

We started with a statement backdrop opting for fun, bright colors. Then showcased all the brunch goodies in front of it. Bubbles, fruit, muffins, meringues, cake and charcuterie cones! If you look closely you can see I took a wire basket, spray painted it pink, flipped it over and used it to hold the charcuterie cones.

For the tablescape, we complimented the stunning floral centerpiece with colorful, mixed place settings. I added DIY placemats using scrapbook paper cut to an arch shape. Each cup had a cute candy heart stir stick and straw as well.

We had two activities at the party. First there was a beautiful dried floral bar. We designed an acrylic sign with a sweet quote for each person to attach a mini dried floral bouquet to. We also had Mama & Mini bracelet kits (in our color palette, of course). A sweet memento for the day.

What’s a party without a party favor. In addition to the fun activity goodies, guests were able to choose some Colorstreet nail polish sets and a hand-made hair bow.

Special thanks to these small businesses who helped make this day happen!

  1. This is one of the cleverest brunches I ever seen. I especially loved the Galentine’s Day idea. . The M&M’s cake was quite spectacular and the idea for the charcuterie cone display is so cute and clever.
Your displays are always so detailed and they show how much thought you have put into them.
    Keep up the brilliant ideas.
