Live Life in Color

Seeing Rainbows

School’s nearly out for summer! It’s time for lazy days, family time and fun. We created this rainbow party for a couple reasons. One reason was to celebrate the start of summer and let our kids know how proud we are of all the hard work they put in this year. The other was a reminder during Pride month to encourage greater acceptance and support for all people.

The Kid’s Table

This party hit all the kid essentials! Bright colors, fun activities, sunflowers and loads of sweets. I pulled color inspiration from the plates and napkins which popped against the bright blue linens from Just Tables and Chairs. I got crafty and used Mod Podge and a striped napkin to jazz up the vase holding the most beautiful sunflowers from Flowers from Judith. Each place setting had the cutest rainbow cupcake with a cloud on top as well as a DIY rainbow painting kit that I found at Target.

The Bounce House

Bounce houses just scream fun, and I love including them in my parties. This awesome white slide version from SoFlo Luxe Bounce looked perfect with an added balloon garland and matching fringe banner.

The Backdrop & Sweets

I chose the theme “Live Life in Color” to let our kids know they have the freedom to be themselves, and that individuality should be celebrated. If we were all the same life would be boring. D Shelez Designz created the wood letter cutouts and Rose & Blossom brought her backdrops and balloon talents to the party. Cake & Purpose created this statement cake to match our color palette, and The Styled Kind provided the cotton candy station. Rainbow candy cubes with custom stickers created by Cutie Candy Company were the perfect party favors.

However you spend your summer, let’s reinforce to our kids that they are amazing just the way they are, and that everyone is worthy of respect and kindness.

A special thanks to Carolina’s Newborn Photography for all the amazing pictures.

  1. Again “Celebrate You Events” hasn’t disappointed me in the clever and unique party displays. What child wouldn’t love all the bright colors and fun games and delicious food these ladies have put together.
What a way to start your child’s summer vacation by rewarding them for all the hard work they have put into this past school year. This would be a party to remember and such a brilliant way to start their summer vacation.
Congratulations “Celebrate You Events Team” on another well thought out party ladies.
I do so enjoy visiting this site and seeing all your creativity.
    Thank you for sharing,
    Diane (in NE Tacoma, WA)
