Hi! I’m Rachel, and I’m so happy you’re here!

THE STORY OF CELEBRATE YOU EVENTS:
After more than 10 years living abroad doing corporate events and product merchandising for the likes of adidas, Brooks Running & the United Nations, we relocated our family to Parkland, FL. We didn’t know anyone, and our family was 3000 miles away in Seattle. My husband travelled a lot for work, which left me in charge of getting settled. Being a stay at home mom was the hardest job I’ve ever had. Once we found our routine, I started getting creative with my sons’ birthdays and holidays. Friends started asking for help with their kid’s parties, and it was such a positive, creative outlet that I thought maybe I have something here!
Then COVID hit. It was a blessing I was home, and could help create joy in a very stressful situation. I launched Celebrate You Events, and absolutely loved the variety of creating small, intimate gatherings. From engagement parties and drive-by baby showers to dinner parties and milestone birthdays.
Connecting with people and helping create something beautiful for each event is so fulfilling, and has helped build my community. The female-owned small businesses I partner with for all the details have become friends. It’s truly rewarding knowing that the parties I help create are supporting the dreams of many local small businesses.
The love and support I’ve received from family, friends, clients, vendors and even complete strangers is what motivates me. I look forward to helping create many more unique, stress-free and memorable celebrations.
FUN FACTS:
Originally from Seattle, I’ve spent most of my life as a nomad. I finished high school and got my degree in the UK. After getting married in 2009, my husband and I moved to Bonn, Germany. A few years later we moved to Dubai, UAE where we had our two boys. After nearly seven adventurous years there, we relocated to Parkland, FL where we currently reside.
I love to travel and stay active. I’ve lost track of the countries I’ve visited, but my travel wish list never stops growing. I like to golf, run, snowboard, craft and bake. I love good food and wine, especially when shared with loved ones.
